Second Chances

Miranda hugged her heavy coat closer to her frame as she trudged through the snow and into the arena. She showed the ID that Matt had given her the week before and made her way to the locker rooms. Scanning the halls quickly she realized that she had no idea where the women's locker room was.

"Excuse me," she said tapping a tall dark haired man on the shoulder. He turned around and she was met with the deep brown eyes of man she never wanted to see again. "Shane...what are you doing here?"

"I work here," he replied, just as shaken as she was. "What are you doing here?"

"Randa!" They both heard followed by Matt all but tackling her to the ground. Shane looked at his best friend in shock.

"What's going on here," he demanded once Matt had hugged the air out of Miranda and set her back on her feet.

"I got Randa a shot at a WWE contract," Matt said smiling broadly. "Isn't that great?" Shane frowned. Matt ignored him and continued, "She's facing Victoria in a dark match and based on fan reaction Vince is going to decide." Matt frowned now seeing Shane's scowl. "Don't you guys talk? I thought that you agreed to remain friends."

"We're not friends," Miranda said making a face at Shane. "I can't be friends with a two-timing creep." She turned to Matt and sighed. "This was a mistake. I'm leaving. Thanks for trying." She turned on her heel to leave, but Matt grabbed her wrist.

"You will not," he said angrily. "I put my ass on the line for you with Vince. You're going to wrestle tonight." She groaned and tried to pull away from him, but he held onto her tightly. "Amy'd kick my ass from here to next Tuesday if I just let you walk out on a chance of a lifetime. Not to mention Shelly, Shannon, Leila and Jeff."

"Look Matt," she said giving up fighting against Matt's grip. "This was a bad idea. I'm not ready for this." Matt let go of her wrist and eyed her warily. "I'm sorry." She turned to walk away again.

"That's right," Shane fumed. "Just walk away. Damn the consequences. That's what you do best! Walk away!"

Miranda turned back to him, violet eyes blazing with anger. "I walked away because you fucked that whore Stacy Keibler. That ring a bell?" Matt's jaw dropped. He had never heard the details of their break-up before.

"Who the hell told you that lie," Shane fumed. "If you really loved me you wouldn't have believed the crap that everyone else tells you!"

"Shelly saw her going into your hotel room on a road trip while I was at home nursing an injury," Miranda yelled.

"Uh...guys," Matt said noticing a crowd had formed. "Why don't we take this into the locker room?" He shoved Shane and Miranda into the locker room he was sharing with Shane and Shannon.

"Randa," Shelly squealed jumping out of Shannon's lap. "What are you doing here?" She gave Miranda a hug and then realized how tense her friend's body was. She glanced from Miranda to Shane, who was glaring at her, and then at Matt. "Oh...Matt...you didn't try to get them back together again did you?" Matt shook his head no and was about to answer, but Shane interrupted.

"That's the least of your worries right now little girl," Shane spat.

"Bro! Don't talk to her like that! What the fuck," Shannon yelled rushing to his girlfriend's side.

"What the fuck is your problem Shane," Shelly yelled, her hands forming fists at her side.

"You," Shane said pointing his finger in her face. "You told Miranda that I slept with Stacy?! Why?!"

"Take your finger out of my face Helms before I break it," Shelly said through clenched teeth.

"Not until you answer the damn question," he fumed.

Without another word Shelly grabbed his finger and bent it back almost to the breaking point. "You wanna know why I told Randa that?" Shane groaned in pain. "I told her exactly what I saw. I saw Stacy go in your room after you had that blow up with Russo about how lame the 3 Count gimmick was. I saw her go in and I saw her come out the next morning. I told Randa what I saw. That answer your question?" Shane groaned and nodded. "Good. Next time I give you a warning I suggest you listen to it." She released his finger and Matt, Shannon and Miranda had to cover their mouths to keep from laughing. "Keep in mind I only tolerated your presence because you were a friend of Shannon, Jeff and Matt's. If you had no ties to us I'd have kicked your ass long ago." She composed herself and turned to Miranda again. "So what brings you to Smackdown?"

"Matt convinced Vince to let me wrestle in a dark match," she replied eying Shane out of the corner of her eye. "Can't say that you didn't warn him huh," she giggled. "Once again Shelly's notorious temper claims another victim." They both giggled.

"Come on man," Matt said patting Shane on the back. "Let's get some ice for that finger." Shane nodded and followed Matt out of the locker room. Shannon tagged along for moral support.

"So," Miranda said uneasily. "How tough is this Victoria chick?"

"Well, Molly trained her, but she's pretty much a girly girl when it comes to bumps and junk."

"Matt thinks that this could be my big break," Miranda said sitting down where Shelly and Shannon had been sitting.

"What do you think?"

"I think it was a mistake to come here," Miranda replied honestly. "He hurt me so badly and seeing him just makes me sick to my stomach."

"Well, it could be worse," Shelly said.

"How?"

"You could be on Raw and have to deal with Stacy." Miranda rolled her eyes.

"I better get to the locker room. My match is supposed to start soon."

"Great," Shelly said smiling as she stood up. "I have a match on Velocity against Jackie Gayda. We can get ready together. Oh and I think Leila, Jeff and Amy are going to stop by a little later."

"Good," Miranda said. "I could use the moral support." Shelly slung her arm around Miranda's shoulders and they walked to the women's locker room together.

~~~~~~
"Hey Shell," Jackie said when the girls reached the locker room. "I need to go through some moves for the match when you're ready."
"All right. Let me get my gear on and then I'll come get you," Shelly said smiling and then turning to her friend. "Duty calls. Good luck against Victoria." Miranda half smiled. "I know you'll be great. Then we can torture Matt on the road together." Miranda chuckled and went to change for the match.
A few moments later Shelly plopped down on the bench beside her and began to lace up her boots. "That's a flashy outfit ya got there," Miranda said smirking. Shelly was wearing a pale blue pearlized catsuit with matching boots and gloves.
"This is the best part," Shelly replied sarcastically as she pulled a matching mask over her eyes and tied it in back. "I'm the female Hurricane!"
"You've got to be kidding me," Miranda said laughing.
"Say hello to Blizzard," Shelly said standing up and twirling around for Miranda to see the full costume.
"Please tell me that there's no cape with that get up."
"No," Shelly said. "Vince thinks it would 'hide my figure' too much and thereby impeding the male fans' fantasies." She rolled her eyes. "Stephanie's been cool though. She told me that this is just until I make my Smackdown debut and then we'll work on something better. For now I'm just payin' my dues." Miranda nodded and finished lacing up her boots. "Did you have that designed by our wardrobe girl or did you pick that up yourself," Shelly asked with a smile seeing Miranda in a black almost an RVD style singlet with a rose with a bleeding thorn airbrushed on it.
"I designed this baby myself," she replied proudly. "When you and Stephanie come up with a better gimmick I can help design your gear."
"Damn right you will," Shelly said smiling. "I better go see what Jackie needs help with. Rookies." She rolled her eyes and they both laughed before Shelly left.
Miranda went out into the hall and began stretching, knowing that her match was just minutes away. Just as she was straightening up she felt hands go around her waist and she was lifted off her feet. "Jeffery Nero Hardy put me down now!" She was returned to her feet and spun around to see Jeff pouting.
"How'd ya know it was me?"
"Because you smell like skittles and hair dye," she laughed and gave him a hug and a kiss. "How're you doing sweety?"
"Good," Jeff said. "Did Shell tell you?" Miranda looked at him questioningly. "About me and Leila?"
"Oh yeah," she said smiling. "'Bout time one of you made a move. God you made us all sick the way you used to make goo goo eyes at each other."
"I resent that," Leila called walking up to her boyfriend and best friend. "You look good chica!"
"Why thank you," Miranda said twirling. They both giggled.
"Is this where the party is," Amy called and bounced over to them.
"Aims," Miranda squealed and hugged her. "How's the neck honey?"
"Been better," Amy replied. "I'll be back though. It's just a matter of time."
"Miranda you're on," someone called. Amy, Leila and Jeff all gave her a hug for luck and she was gone.
Miranda bounced down to the ring. Since she was an unknown she had no music yet. Victoria's music hit and the crowd had a mixed response. Miranda watched the raven haired woman step into the ring and then pounced. She lifted Victoria up off the mat by her hair and whipped her into the ropes, doing her version of the clothesline from hell. Victoria fell to the mat and writhed in pain before Miranda pulled her up and lifted her, performing a perfect jackhammer.
Just when Miranda's victory looked like it was in the bag Victoria got the upper hand and began to pummel Miranda. She executed a fisherman's suplex and got the pin.
Once the match was over Victoria helped Miranda up and shook her hand as a show of good sportsmanship. The crowd applauded Miranda's talent as she left the ring.
"You were great," Leila, Amy and Shelly all squealed as they hugged her.
"I was so nervous! I thought I was going to trip and land on my face, but once the crowd got into the match it just felt right," Miranda said taking the bottle of water Leila had offered her. Just then Stephanie McMahon approached the group.
"Miranda," she said straightfaced. "My father would like to see you." Miranda looked to her friends and shrugged as she followed Stephanie.
"Well, if it isn't Matt's little pet," Vince said with his usual sneer. "Well, Miranda I watched your match tonight. I personally wanted to see how good your really were. Matt tends to exaggerate sometimes when it comes to his friends. Honestly...I was very much impressed with your style. Who did you train with?"
"I trained with Matt, Jeff, Shannon and Shane, well, all of us girls did." Vince looked at her confused. "Shelly and Leila and to some extent Amy."
"I see," Vince said. "I suppose you'd like to join your friends in this business then?"
"It's been my dream to work for the WWE sir," Miranda replied honestly. "Even when I worked briefly in WCW a couple of years ago I would tape Raw and Smackdown and I'd watch them on off days just to study some moves."
"I bet you had a lot of those off days huh," Vince smirked. Miranda nodded sadly. "Well, I think you have what it takes to go far in this federation and to be quite honest...Smackdown is in dire need of some talented female wrestlers. Stephanie will be handling things once you sign on the dotted line." Miranda looked at Vince stunned as he handed her the contract and a pen. She took the papers and the pen and quickly signed them. "Great! Welcome to the WWE Miranda."
"Thank you Mr McMahon," Miranda said.
"If you'll follow me," Stephanie said. "We can go into my office and discuss when you will debut and possible gimmicks for you." Just as they entered Stephanie's office Miranda caught sight of the monitor. Shane was in the ring tagging with Shannon. An idea formed in her mind and an evil smirk formed on her lips.
"Stephanie," she said. "I think I have an idea for a gimmick, but it would require a gutsy move on your part." Stephanie's eyes lit up and she motioned for Miranda to sit before they discussed what she had in mind.
~~~~~~

"Have any of you seen Randa," Matt asked as he sat in his locker room with Shannon, Shelly, Amy, Leila and Jeff and watched the progression of Smackdown. Shane was out warming up for his match.

"She said she was working on something secret," Shelly replied. "She wouldn't tell any of us what it was, but she said we'd see tonight."

"Look, there's Shane," Amy said glancing at the monitor. They showed Shane stretching and then the Coach running up to him and starting to talk frantically. "Turn it up." Matt did and they listened.

"What do you think about Stephanie announcing that you have a mystery opponent tonight," Coach asked excitedly.

"Coach," Shane said in total Hurricane character. "I believe that Stephanie has set this challenge for the Hurricane because she believes that I am up for the challenge. And Coach...I don't intend to let her down." With that said he swooped out of the screen.

Everyone glanced at each other in confusion. They could have sworn Shane was to be facing Billy Kidman that night. Just then the screen that showed a confused Coach began to pan out to reveal a dark figure watching a monitor. "Up for a challenge are you? That's putting it mildly," the figure said evilly and began to laugh maniacally as the screen went blank.

"What the fuck was that," Shannon asked after a moment of stunned silence.

"I think...that was Randa," Leila said.

"What the hell are we starting a Marvel comics convention," Jeff exclaimed.

"Let's just see what happens huh," Amy said as the commercial ended and Shane's music began. Shane entered the ring, but before he could do his usual twirl the lights went out a flame erupted on the stage. Evil laughter rang out through the arena over Godsmack's Voodoo. A dark figure came up through the stage and stood in the middle of the flames. Not a trace of the person's identity could be seen through the black catsuit and mask.

The figure raised a mic to it's mouth and spoke to the Hurricane. "Well, well, well...Hurricane...we meet again," the evil voice of a woman said. "I remember our last encounter. Do you? No? I remember it very distinctly. The passion-filled night we spent, the exhausting battle we had the next day. You should have killed me then Hurricane because you'll soon see that I've been reborn and I'm back with a vengence." With that she threw the mic to the ground and ran through the flames into the ring.

She began to pummel him, taking him by total surprise at the strength she had in her tiny frame. He never had a chance against her.

Within moments she had disabled him enough to pin him. With a final slap to his unconscious face she left the ring to mixed reactions from the crowd.

Coach was waiting for her when she got to the curtains. "Excuse me," he called as she began to walk away. She stopped and eyed him. "What should we call you?"

She chuckled evilly and sauntered back to him. "Call me...Blind Fury." With that she walked away from him.

"Blind Fury," Matt exclaimed with a huge smile.

"I can't believe she beat Shane," Shelly said.

"Do you think Shane knows who it was," Leila asked.

"He used to train with her," Shannon replied. "He's gotta know."

"I dunno," Amy said. "Her style has evolved a lot since we last saw her."

Just then the door was flung open and Shane stormed in mumbling under his breath. "Who the hell does she think she is," he fumed. "And Stephanie! That bitch would rather die than lose ratings to Eric Bischoff." He tossed his cape and mask across the room. "It'll be great for Smackdown," he said mocking a woman's voice. "Be a sport Shane." He kicked a bench. "I'll give her sport!"

"He doesn't know," Shelly whispered as they all watched Shane have a hissyfit in the locker room.

~~~~~~
"Great job," Stephanie said shaking Miranda's hand. "Did you see the look on Shane's face when your music hit?! It was great! I am so glad that Daddy agreed to sign you. You are going to be a great addition to Smackdown."
"Thanks Stephanie," Miranda said smiling. She had used Stephanie's office to change. "That really means a lot to me." Stephanie recieved an urgent phone call just then and Miranda waved and ducked out of the office.
"She made her way to Matt, Shannon and Shane's locker room and poked her head in. She was jerked into the room by Leila, Amy and Shelly. Shannon and Matt had left for their tag team match and Shane was sulking in his car after taking a shower and storming out.
"When you make a debut you really make a debut," Shelly kidded.
"How come you didn't tell us it was Hurricane bashing day," Leila giggled.
"I figured it's the best way to get revenge on him," Miranda said smiling.
Just then there was a knock at the door and three women poked their heads in. "Come on in girls," Shelly said smiling and waving them all in. "I'm sure you're all here to see who the new blood is. Right?" They all nodded smiling. "This," Shelly continued as she pulled Miranda forward. "Is Blind Fury, also know as one of my bestest buddies in the whole wide world, Miranda."
She turned to Miranda and said, "This is Emily. She's with Dwayne, but only off camera. On camera she's not really linked to anyone romantically, but she's been flirting with Matt leading up to a feud with Amy when she returns." Emily smiled wide and nodded a hello to Miranda.
"This is Tammi," Shelly said continuing the introduction. "She's with Adam and just cutting her teeth in the fed like us. Great competitor." Tammi blushed slightly and nodded a hello.
"And this," Shelly said slinging an arm around the last woman's shoulders. "This is Joxy. She's with Kurt and does a hell of a job keeping his gold medals shiny." Joxy elbowed Shelly in the ribs and they both began to laugh. "Just kidding. She's been working her ass off with Kurt in the ring." Shelly smiled at all of the ladies and added, "Some of my best matches have been either tagging with or facing these three. Of course, most of those matches were dark matches, but the crowd loved them."
"It's great to meet all of you," Miranda said. "Once I'm through torturing Shane I'd be honored to have a match with any one of you."
"Welcome aboard," Joxy said smiling warmly.
"It's great to see a new face," Tammi said.
"Yeah," Emily agreed. "Smackdown is seriously in need of some talented women wrestlers."
"That's why I'm here," Miranda replied and then turned to her friends. "I'm gonna head to the hotel and grab a nice hot bath while I still have the energy. I'll talk to you all tomorrow." Leila, Amy and Shelly all nodded and waved as Miranda left.
"So, what's the deal with her torturing Shane," Tammi asked making herself comfortable on a couch.
"They used to date until he cheated on her with Stacy Keibler," Amy replied with a sigh. "Or so we think."
"What do you mean," Emily asked.
"Well, I saw her go into his room at night and come out in the morning," Shelly said. "Let me say that she looked quite disheveled too."
"Seems such a shame," Joxy said. "From her match you can tell there's still some passion left in her for the guy." She sighed sadly. "Well, I have to accompany Kurt to the ring in a few."
"Yeah I need to see what Dwayne's doing," Emily said.
"I better go check on Adam. He was getting stitched up from the brutal match he had against Eddie and Chavo."
"See ya," Amy, Leila and Shelly said in unison as the three girls left the room.
"I have an idea," Shelly said suddenly. Amy and Leila exchanged worried glances and then motioned for her to go on. "Leila," she said innocently. "I need either you or Dawn to see if you can find out from Stacy what really happened that night." Leila looked at her as if she were insane. "I'll admit it," she replied. "I might have jumped the gun in assuming Shane cheated on Randa. Come on. Please."
"I don't know," Leila began.
"Puhleeeeeease!"
"Oh all right," Leila said. "I'll talk to Dawn and see what we can find out. In the meantime you try to see if Torrie knows anything. They've been friends for a long time. She might have told Torrie something."
"You got it," Shelly said smiling.
"I feel so left out," Amy chuckled.
"You have the most important job of them all Aims," Leila said and Shelly nodded in agreement.
"What's that?"
"You have to keep Shane from finding out who Blind Fury really is," Shelly said. "At least until we find out the truth."
~~~~~~

Shane sat in his car, still much too pissed and confused about the night's events to drive to the hotel. There was something about that woman that was so familiar, but he couldn't place it. He sighed and leaned his head back on the headrest. "Who was that," he mumbled. "I just have the feeling that I've been in the ring with her before."

~*~*~*~*~*~

Miranda sighed as she trudged into her hotel room. She turned up the air conditioner and flopped onto the bed. It had felt good to beat up on Shane, but something also felt wrong. With the thoughts of Shane she soon fell asleep.

~*~*~*~*~*~

"You know what you have to do," Leila asked Dawn. She groaned, but nodded.

"I have to casually ask Stacy about Shane," Dawn said with a loud sigh. "But why me?!"

"Because if I ask it'll seem too obvious. Shane's a friend of my boyfriend," Leila said. "There she is! Go!" She shoved Dawn towards the leggy blonde who was making her way down the hall. Dawn looked back to Leila, but she had ducked into a locker room.

"Stacy," Dawn said forcing a smile. "How are ya?"

Stacy turned to her and looked at her as if tryng to place the face. "Dawn is it?" Dawn nodded. "What do you want?"

"Excuse me," Dawn said, her temper flaring.

"No," Stacy said smiling. "I didn't mean to be rude. I was just...well...you haven't ever wanted to talk to me. I just thought that...I don't know...."

"Well," Dawn said forcing the words out. "I'd like to know what it was like being in WCW."

"Oh," Stacy said smiling wider. "It was great fun. I got to do what I love...dance!" Dawn fought the urge to roll her eyes at the woman before her.

"So," she said slyly. "Was there any hooking up?"

"Oh of course! If you're on the road with people for most of the year it's hard to imagine not hooking up with someone who understands your schedule."

"So who'd you hook up with," Dawn asked.

"Oh God," Stacy said shaking her head. "Lots of mistakes. Let me tell you! David Flair for a night. He was like puppy dog afterwards. Um....Buff Bagwell for a while. I always had a crush on the guys in 3 Count."

"Ever hook up with one of them?"

"Stacy! You're needed in make up," someone called.

"I gotta go," Stacy said apologetically and walked off in the direction of the make up artist.

"Damn it," Dawn said.

"What'd she say," Leila asked.

"Nothing important," Dawn replied. "She was about to answer my question when someone called her."

"Damn it," Leila fumed. "Guess we'll just have to keep trying."

"That's what I was afraid of," Dawn groaned.

~*~*~*~*~*~

"Go on," Amy said shoving Shelly ahead when they spotted Torrie Wilson sitting by the pool at the hotel. Shelly gave her a look and then nonchalantly walked over and sat down in the lounge chair next to Torrie. The blonde pulled her sunglasses down her nose and smiled at Shelly. "Hey Torrie," Shelly said and stretched out on the chair.

"I love your bikini," Torrie said smiling.

"Yours is cute too," Shelly said. "Say Torrie. Do you remember the WCW days?"

"Of course I do," Torrie smiled. "I remember getting my hair ripped out by you a couple of times." Both giggled.

"Yeah," Shelly sighed. "The good old days." They both laughed. "I remember you and Stacy were like joined at the hip. You still close with her?"

Torrie's face grew dark and she frowned deeply. "No," Torrie said. "Not since she started having her 'meetings' with Mr McMahon."

"Oh," Shelly said glancing over in Amy's direction. "So then...you probably wouldn't mind dishing some dirt on her then huh?"

"Not at all," Torrie said smiling.

"Do you remember Stacy telling you about hooking up with a guy in 3 Count?"

"Oh sure," Torrie said nodding.

"Hey Tor," Billy Kidman called. "Come on babe. We gotta go meet with the guy about the flowers for the wedding."

"Sorry girly," Torrie said. "I gotta go."

"But...who was it...." Torrie didn't hear her as she walked away.

"What happened," Amy asked.

"She had to go meet with the guy to pick out flowers for the wedding," Shelly frowned. "This is going to be tougher than I thought."

"You have it easy compared to my job," Amy mumbled.

~~~~~~
"Where have you been," Shannon asked when Shelly stormed into the locker room. "Amy's been running her ass off tryin' to keep Shane from findin' Randa's locker room."
"I've been in front of the firing squad," Shelly mumbled as she flopped down next to him and buried her face in her hands.
"What's wrong," Shannon asked placing a hand on her back.
"I just came from a meeting with the McMahons," she said. "All four of them. Apparently Stephanie thinks that Miranda needs a sidekick and since I've already been wrestling as Blizzard Shane and Vince think I'm perfect for the job. I debut tonight on Smackdown." She sighed.
"Didn't Stephanie promise you that you'd work on a better gimmick once it came time to debut on Smackdown," Shannon asked as he rubbed her back.
"Yes," Shelly replied. "But unfortunately Vince gets the final say in things and he wants me to be a sidekick." She sighed and half smiled at him. "At least there's one good thing that comes from this."
"What's that," Shannon asked as he brushed some hair out of her eyes.
"I'll get to kick your ass tonight," she chuckled. "Blind Fury and Blizzard are taking on Hurricane and Shannon Moore." Shannon smiled wide knowing that it was going to be a hell of a match with his friends and his girlfriend.
~*~*~*~*~*~
"Ready partner," Miranda asked giving Shelly a sympathetic smile.
"Yeah," Shelly sighed and pulled on her mask. "Let's kick some ass."
Shane and Shannon had just entered the ring to a huge pop when the arena went pitch black. Flames erupted from the stage and Blind Fury emerged from the stage. She held a mic to her mouth. "Well, well, well Hurricane," she said in a mocking tone. "I see you brought a playmate tonight. Nice try sweetheart, but he's not going to be a match for my playmate." Just then the arena grew colder and a mist filled the place. Silvery snow began to blow down from the rafters as Blizzard made her entrance. "Let me introduce you to Blizzard. Better watch out boys. She'll freeze you in your tracks."
Hurricane and Shannon just stood in the ring staring at the women for a moment and then Shane leaned over to Shannon and said, "What the hell is this? What the fuck is Shelly doing working with this chick." Shannon just shrugged.
It was then that Blizzard and Blind Fury chose to attack. Within moments Blind Fury had Hurricane on the outside of the ring where they were exchanging blows. Blizzard took this oppurtunity to take advantage Shannon's lack of back up. She whipped him into the corner and began chest chops until he managed to grab one of her hands and pin it behind her so that her back was to his chest.
An evil smile spread across her lips and she stopped struggling, much to Shannon's confusion. She leaned back against him and bagan to wriggle again making sure her body was rubbing against his. The crowd began to chuckle as Shannon got a dreamy look on his face. Within seconds Blizzard had mule kicked him and he crumpled to the mat. With an evil laugh she pulled him up by his hair and finished him off with a hurricanrana. She got the pin as Hurricane and Blind Fury were still on the outside.
Blind Fury, seeing her partner's hand being raised, jumped onto the apron to climb into the ring, but Hurricane had other ideas. He grabbed her by the ankle and yanked her down. She landed on her feet and glared at him. Without warning he reached out and slapped her across the face, knocking her to the ground. He pounced on her like a cougar attacking it's prey and tried to remove her mask. Little did he know that Blizzard was creeping up on him with a chair, which she had just knocked Shannon out with. She cracked Hurricane over the head and practically dragged Blind Fury away from the ring.
~*~*~*~*~*~
"Are you all right," Shelly asked her friend as they both made their way to the back.
"He slapped me," Miranda said holding her cheek. She knew that there would be a huge bruise there in a while. Shelly helped her to the EMT to make sure it wasn't worse than they thought it was.
"Where the fuck is she," Shane yelled as he stormed to the locker rooms with Shannon trailing behind him. "Where the fuck is she Shannon?! I want her right here. Right in front of me now."
"Why so you can slap her like you did to the new girl. That wasn't how the match was supposed to go down and you know it Shane," Shannon fumed. "We're there to make the girls look good. We don't strike them because they won the match."
"How can you say that," Shane fumed. "Your own girlfriend gave you a chair shot!"
"She did it to save her friend," Shannon snapped.
"Shannon no," Amy yelled finally catching up to them.
"What do you mean," Shane asked looking from Shannon to Amy and back to Shannon again.
"She was saving Randa from whatever you were going to do to her," Shannon yelled and shoved his way past Amy and Shane.
"Randa," Shane muttered. "Blind Fury is Randa?" Amy sighed and nodded. Shane looked crushed. "Is she really that mad at me?"
"This was all her idea," Amy said. "You hurt her Shane. She gave her heart and soul to you and when you slept with Stacy it was like you shredded them into a million pieces and trampled all over them."
"I never slept with Stacy," Shane yelled. "I NEVER slept with her!" With that he stormed off to be by himself.
"I want to believe you Shane," Amy mumbled and went to find her friends.
~~~~~~

Shannon stormed into Miranda's locker room and slammed the door. Shelly, who was helping Miranda with the ice pack on her cheek, went to his side. "Honey," she said softly. "What's wrong?"

Shannon punched the wall and cursed under his breath causing both Shelly and Miranda to jump. It was rare, but when Shannon was this mad it was best to let him take his time talking about it. He ran his hand through his blonde hair and sighed. "Sometimes I wonder why I'm friends with that man," he said frowning.

Shelly placed a hand on his shoulder. "What happened honey?"

"Shane," he began and then was at a loss for words. "He knows about you now Randa. Sorry. When I saw him hit you I was so mad. I just couldn't believe he'd do something like that, especially to a woman." He shrugged Shelly's hand off. "I need some air. I'll meet you back at the hotel." Shelly nodded sadly, knowing that there was nothing she could do to change his mind.

"I'll give you a ride to the hotel," Miranda said to Shelly as she watched Shannon leave. "Drive carefully Shan!" She gave her friend's shoulder a reassuring squeeze. "This whole situation with Shane has got us all on edge I guess."

"I just can't believe he let the cat out of the bag," Shelly said sighing.

"Like Shane wouldn't have eventually figured it out," Miranda said. They looked at each other a moment before they both started chuckling. "You're right. This is Shane we're talking about here." They both chuckled. "Come on. Let's get you back to your man."

"Take your time," Shelly said grabbing her bags. "He'll be out for a while and probably come back to the room piss drunk later." Miranda raised an eyebrow at her. "The last time he was this mad was when you and Shane broke up." Miranda nodded and sighed. "Shan and I love you like a sister Randa. That's why Shan gets so mad when Shane hurts you. He's probably gonna hate me for telling you this, but Shan was totally against you and Shane hooking up."

"I knew that," Miranda said smiling. "He wouldn't talk to me or Shane for a month once he found out that we had slept together."

"I think that was because Shane was getting lucky when he wasn't," Shelly laughed. "But I also think that in the back of his mind he knew that Shane would hurt you somehow."

Shane sat in his locker room with his head in his hands. "I never cheated on Miranda," he mumbled. "Why won't anyone believe me?"

"I believe you." Shane turned toward the door and saw Matt standing there. "Hard to believe since Randa's my best friend huh?" Shane nodded. "Well, we've been friends longer Shane. I wasn't there when all this shit with Stacy went down, but I believe you Shane."

"I'm glad someone does," Shane muttered.

"The trick is making the others believe you too," Matt said.

"I think I know how," Shane said, his eyes suddenly brightening. He got up and walked out of the room. Matt followed him thoroughly confused.

Shane finally stopped at the production truck. "Do you guys happen to have any of the old WCW tapes?"

"Sure," said a short man with glasses. "What do ya need?"

"This is a long shot, but do you have any tapes of the 3 Count locker room?"

"Shane what are you doing," Matt asked.

"WCW always had cameras in the locker rooms," Shane replied as he watched anxiously as the man looked through his log for the tapes.

"But Shane," Matt said. "This happened in your hotel room."

"Yes, but I remember fending off Stacy earlier that night."

"That doesn't prove anything," Matt said.

"Maybe not, but it's a start."

"We have them," the man said. "Give me a couple of days and I'll get them for you."

"Thanks," Shane said. "I hope this works." Matt just stared at his friend wondering what was going to happen.

~~~~~~
"What's going on," Joxy asked as she entered Miranda's room and saw Amy, Shelly, Leila, Dawn, Emily and Tammi sitting around.
"Slumber party," Shelly said smiling.
"Shan's been in a pissy mood all night since his argument with Shane," Miranda said. "So, instead of Shell sitting in her room with a grump I decided that it was time for a girly get together and I figured that friends of Shell, Leila and Amy are friends of mine." She smiled and welcomed Joxy into the room.
"We all left notes to our guys to let them know where we were in case they worried," Amy said.
"Room service is on it's way up," Leila said hanging up the phone. "I ordered one of everything on the desert menu."
"Now this sounds like a party," Joxy said smiling as she took a seat next to Tammi and Emily.
"So...um....Miranda," Dawn said biting her lip. "How exactly did you and Shane meet?"
"We all grew up together," Miranda replied. "I actually was best friends with Matt and he introduced me to Shane. We all used to hang out and eventually Matt convinced me, Leila and Shelly to let him, Shane, Shannon and Jeff train us so that we could have some matches in the Hardys backyard. I'll never forget Gilbert's face when he saw Jeff put Leila in a headlock." Miranda, Leila and Shelly all went hysterical laughing.
Shelly stopped laughing long enough to imitate Gilbert Hardy. "Jeff! What in tarnation are you doing to that poor girl!" Soon everyone in the room was laughing.
"Man! Gil was SO mad at Jeff! He didn't speak to him for a week," Leila laughed. "All he could say was 'They used to be such sweet girls.' To this day I think he still blames the boys for getting us into wrestling. We definitely were not southern belles!"
"I know I'll never forget the day Shan and I found out that Randa and Shane had hooked up," Shelly said giggling. Miranda's face turned beet red. "We were heading out to the trampoline," Shelly said. "That was the makeout spot on the Hardy property."
"I thought it was the woods around the house," Leila said and then blushed as she realized she revealed a little more about her and Jeff's relationship than she wanted to.
"You little horndogs," Shelly giggled as she shoved Leila playfully. "Anyway," she continued. "Shan and I were just about to the trampoline when we heard a moan or something. We snuck up to the side and saw Shane and Randa mauling each other. She nearly killed us when we teased her about it later that night." Miranda picked up a pillow and whacked Shelly with it. "Hey! That's no way to treat your faithful sidekick!"
"So, you guys were together since you were...what teens," Joxy asked.
Miranda sighed and nodded sadly. "We were together since junior year of high school, all through indies and up to WCW."
"What happened," Tammi asked.
"Shell saw Stacy Keibler coming out of his room one morning. I was home with a busted up knee. He started to act strange after that. I broke it off before he could break my heart even more."
"Wow," Emily said. "But what if you were wrong?"
"Then why did he start to act guilty? You don't understand," Miranda said sighing. "I knew him better than he knew himself. We grew up together. We were like one. Then he became secretive. He was hiding something." She excused herself and went into the bathroom leaving her friends worried about her.
She closed the bathroom door, locked it and slid down to the floor. She closed her eyes and could see the day she left Shane so vividly in her mind. The lyrics to a Michelle Branch song ran through her mind as she remembered that day.
Of all the things I've believed in
I just want to get it over with
Tears form behind my eyes
But I do not cry
Counting the days that pass me by
Miranda gathered her bags and turned toward the bed where Shane's sleeping form rested. Tears sprang to her eyes, but she forced them back. With a sigh she quietly left the hotel room. She stopped short of closing the door and went back in. Even in his sleep he had some kind of hold on her.
I've been searching deep down in my soul
Words that I'm hearing are starting to get old
It feels like I'm starting all over again
The last three years were just pretend
She sat down at the table in the corner of the room and rested her head in her hands. She wrestled with her willpower. She needed to leave. He had hurt her so bad when he cheated on her and she had believed his lies when he said "I love you." Now she wasn't sure what she believed.
I still get lost in your eyes
And it seems that I can't live a day without you
Closing my eyes and you chase my thoughts away
To a place where I am blinded by the light
But it's not right
"Hey." She looked up from her hands and saw Shane sitting up in bed rubbing his eyes. "Why are you up?" He looked at the clock on the night table. "It's three in the morning." He climbed out of bed and went to her side.
Staring into his deep brown eyes, she couldn't bring herself to tell him. She simply closed her eyes and rested her head on his shoulder. His arms closed around her and he held her. It felt so right in his arms, but she knew it wasn't.
And it hurts to want everything and nothing at the same time
I want what's yours and I want what's mine
I want you
But I'm not giving in this time
Pushing Shane away, she stared at him with tears burning in her eyes. "I'm leaving," she said finally fighting the urge to run back into his arms.
"What? Why," he sputtered.
"You know why," she said grabbing her bags and again heading for the door.
"Whatever I did I'm sorry," he said. "We can work through this. Randa please...."
Goodbye to you
Goodbye to everything I thought I knew
You were the one I loved
The one thing that I tried to hold on to
"Goodbye Shane," she said as she climbed into her car and closed the door. She let the tears flow freely now as she started the engine and pulled out of the parking lot.
And when the stars fall
I will lie awake
You're my shooting star
Miranda was snapped back to the present when someone knocked on the door. "Randa? You ok," Leila called through the door.
"I'm fine," she called getting to her feet again. She went to the sink to splash some cold water on her face and realized that she had been crying. "I'm not fine," she mumbled to her reflection. "I miss Shane so much." With a sigh she splashed some water on her face and prepared herself to go back out with the girls.
~~~~~~

"Heads up cheif," Matt said tossing a big package to Shane. It had been a week since Shannon had told Shane who Blind Fury was and Matt was still the only one talking to him. Shane ripped open the package and looked at the videos marked with the WCW insignia. He found a note attached to one of the tapes.

I worked all week to compile all the tapes into just a couple since the clips were just a few minutes long each. Let me know if you need anything else.
Bob

Shane smiled and took the tapes over to a VCR. He scanned through scene upon scene of himself, Shannon and Evan going in and out of the locker room before he found what he wanted. "Bingo," he smiled and stopped the tape. Slipping the tape back into it's case he made a pit stop before heading to the ring for his match with Matt.

~*~*~*~*~*~

"Hey Randa," Shelly said picking up the video. "What's this?"

"I dunno," Miranda said removing her mask. "Pop it in." They both sat down to watch the video. Soon they saw Stacy Keibler saunter into the 3 Count locker room.

"Shane," Stacy whined. "You have such beautiful hair."

"What do you want Stacy," Shane said, annoyance very clear in his voice.

"I want," she said as she began to unbutton his shirt. "You." She smiled wickedly. Miranda felt bile creeping up her throat as she watch Stacy throw herself at Shane.

"Stacy no," Shane said shoving her away so hard that she fell off of the bench. "You know I'm with Miranda."

"Oh come on," Stacy laughed. "Do you honestly think that that little girl can satisfy a man like you?"

"You know nothing about me Stacy," Shane said. "I love Miranda and I would never do anything to hurt her. Go some place else to get your jollies. I'm taken." With that he left the room.

"We'll just see about that," Stacy said with an evil smirk.

"Whoa," Shelly said and looked at her friend.

"It doesn't change the fact that she was in Shane's room that night," Miranda said and walked out of the room.

~*~*~*~*~*~

"Shane," Shelly called as she ran down the hall to catch up with him. He stopped to wait for her. "Randa saw the tape. You left it for her didn't you?" He nodded. "It didn't change her mind." She frowned.

"Did it change your mind," he asked.

"Well..." He gave her a knowing look. "Yeah," she replied. "I mean when you left the room Stacy's eyes took on an evil glint." Shane furrowed his brow. "You didn't see it all did you?" He frowned and shook his head. "You told her that you loved Miranda and that you were taken and stormed out and she said we'll just see about that," Shelly said. "She was fucking scary Shane."

"Is Leila's cell on," Shane asked.

"It usually is. Why?"

"Call her and ask her and Dawn to do you a little favor." He walked her over to a corner of the arena and began telling her the plan.

Just then Shannon turned the corner and saw them together. "What the fuck," he mumbled.

"Thanks Shell," Shane said hugging her and giving her a quick kiss. "I owe you big time!"

"What the fuck is this," Shannon yelled as he ran to where they were. "You're not happy ruining your own relationships now you gotta ruin mine too?!"

"Shannon calm down," Shelly said. "Nothing is going on between Shane and I. I was just doing..."

"I thought you were mad at Shane," Shannon fumed.

"Shan," Shelly said trying hard to remain calm. "Let's go somewhere quiet where I can explain everything to you." Shannon glared at the both of them and then sighed and nodded as he allowed Shelly to lead him away.

~~~~~~
Miranda paced her hotel room. How could he do this to her after all this time? Years had passed since she had left him and now he decided to fight for her after just letting her walk out of his life? "Why is he doing this to me," she mumbled.
"Because he still loves you," a familiar voice said causing Miranda to jump a mile.
"Matt," she said twirling around to see him sitting on her bed. "How the hell did you get in here," she asked a little shocked that she hadn't seen him when she came in.
"Amy and I had a fight and she kicked me out. I went to the front desk and told the guy that I was your brother and wanted to surprise you and he gave me the key."
"What were you and Amy fighthing about," she asked taking a seat next to her best friend.
"Not important," Matt said smiling at her. "We'll work things out. We always do. I'm worried about you Randa Bear." She rolled her eyes at his childhood nickname for her.
"You don't have to worry Matt," she said sighing. "I'm not as fragile as everyone thinks I am." She rubbed her temples and looked at her friend. "You know what pissed me off more than the thought that Shane had slept with Stacy? The fact that once I left Shane everyone in our little circle of friends called and came over like someone had died or something. You all acted like I was going to have some kind of a breakdown once I left Shane. Is that what I was to you all? Someone who used Shane as crutch? Someone who couldn't live without the love of her life? Well, I got news for you and the others. I've survived and I'm fine."
Matt sighed and got up. "We were only so concerned because we all know what heartache feels like. It's not fun Randa. We only wanted to help you, to let you know that we care about you. We were showing you what friends were for." He started to walk away, but she grabbed his wrist.
"I know," she said softly. "I know that's what you were doing, but you know how pigheaded I can be. I've always been independent and you guys made me feel so loved and yet so...dependent. I loved and hated it." She let go of Matt and hung her head. "I wish I knew what to do."
He tilted her head up to look at him. "You want my honest opinion?" She nodded. "I think you should admit to yourself that you still love him." She closed her eyes as tears burned behind her lids. "I know you better than anyone else in our little circle Randa. You love him, but you don't want to get hurt again and that's keeping you from being truly happy."
"He hurt me Matt," she said breaking away from his hand.
"You don't know that for sure," Matt said with a sigh. "I, for one, do not believe that he slept with Stacy. I believe Shane when he says he didn't. Wanna know why?" She shrugged. "Because I saw the way he used to look at you. His whole face lit up when you entered a room. He loved you...he still loves you. He gets that same glint in his eyes when he sees you, but now it's laced with pain and sorrow." When she didn't reply he sighed heavily and said, "I'm gonna go see if Amy's in a better mood. Think about what I told you. Please. I hate seeing you live a life you're going to regret."
As soon as she heard the door click shut Miranda laid back on the bed and let the tears fall freely. Matt was right. She was living a life that she regretted. Things had been so much simpler back when she and Shane had been in WCW. They were happy together. They made plans to buy a house together...a house that she later came to find out Shane had bought and was living in. She dreaded the thought of the one night stands Shane had parading through what was supposed to be their home.
"God help me," she sobbed. "I miss him so much." Her body ached to be held in his strong arms. How she longed to fall asleep playing with his silky hair. She hated the fact that he had cut it all off and dyed it green, but she knew that it still had that silky texture she loved. She missed the way he would smile in his sleep and the way he always knew just what was bothering her even if she didn't say a word to him. She closed her eyes and pictured him as she remembered him. With that image of Shane in her mind she cried herself to sleep.
~~~~~~

Miranda rolled over in bed and sighed. She opened one eye and glanced at the clock radio that was playing some local radio station's morning show. It was a little after eight in the morning. She had slept since Matt left the night before, but she was just mentally exhausted. The talk that she and Matt had only confused her even more about her feelings for Shane.

Dragging herself out of bed she showered and changed into a white sundress and sandals. Grabbing a sweater and her purse she went down to the hotel diner to get some breakfast. When she got down there she spotted all the happy couples. They had moved a couple of tables together and were happily talking. She also saw Shane, a look of envy on his face as he looked at his happy friends. With a heavy sigh she walked over to the table.

"Randa," Shelly and Leila both said with huge smiles.

"Hey guys," she said forcing a smile. "Guess I wasn't the only hungry one huh?"

"Randa," Shane said before anyone could reply to her. "We need to talk."

"I really don't think that's a good idea Shane," she replied and attempted to squeeze in between Shannon and Jeff, Shane reached out and gently pulled her back to her feet. Both Shannon and Jeff tensed, ready to help Miranda if need be.

"Please," Shane said. "I really need to talk to you." She didn't reply, only struggled to get free, but he tightened his grip on her. "Miranda please. It's been almost four years. I think we should talk."

"Fine," Miranda replied and yanked her arm free. "Come on. We can do it in the privacy of my room." She gave a reassuring glance to her concerned friends and left with Shane.

They filed onto the elevator and back to Miranda's room. "What did you want to talk about," she asked tossing her purse on the bed and sitting down on the edge.

"Us," he replied taking a seat next to her.

"That's going to be short," she replied dryly. "There is no us...anymore."

"There could be," he retorted. "If you'd just believe me. Randa I loved you...I still love you. I always have. I fell in love the day we met way back when we were kids. It's always been you. You walked out on me and it was like my whole world collapsed around me."

"Shane don't," she said getting up and going to the window.

"Don't what," he asked following her. "Don't tell you the truth? Don't tell you that I seriously considered ending my life because you were gone?"

She turned to face him, tears burning in her eyes. "That's not fair Shane," she choked. "Do you know how I felt when I found out that you had slept with Stacy Keibler?" She ground the tears out of her eyes.

"I never slept with her," he said and reached out to pull her into his arms. The sight of her in tears was breaking his heart.

She pulled away and shook her head at him. "You changed toward the end. You were secretive, you stayed out late, you...weren't the same Shane I knew."

"I know," he replied softly. "WCW was eliminating female talent and you and Shelly were on the list. Russo told me personally since he knew we were together. He told Shannon too, but I guess Shannon has bigger balls than me. He told Shelly straight out...I...I just couldn't bring myself to tell you. I knew that wrestling was in your blood. I knew you loved it and WCW was taking that away from you and they didn't even have the nerve to tell you themselves."

"You expect me to believe that," Miranda said incredulously. "I knew you like a book Shane. You were hiding something and that wasn't it. I knew about the layoffs. That wasn't what made you change."

"Fine," Shane said tiredly as he sat down on the bed. "You want the truth, what really happened that night with Stacy?" She nodded. "I'll tell you, but you have to believe me once I tell you."

"As long as it's not more lies I will," she replied and took a seat across from him.

"It was back when you were home with the bad knee," he began. "Stacy had just been told about the whole David Flair pregnancy angle and she was upset. Shan, Evan and I were trying to cheer her up. Mostly Evan because Shannon and I couldn't really stand her."

~*~*~*~*~*~

"What do you suppose is going on up there," Joxy asked.

"It's best if we don't start to imagine," Shelly said remembering the last fight Shane and Miranda had before the final breakup.

"Hopefully things are being worked out," Shannon said squeezing Shelly's hand. Her grip tightened around his and he followed her gaze to see what had upset her. There by the buffet table stood Stacy Keibler picking at the food. Before Shannon could stop her she had jumped up and headed toward the younger woman.

"Stacy," she said, the blonde looked up and saw Shelly with Leila, Amy, Dawn, Tammi, Emily and Joxy following her. She dropped her plate of food and began looking for a place to hide. "Stacy," Shelly said again finally coming face to face with her. "Let's go have a little talk shall we?" Stacy looked at the grim faces and nodded, her eyes showed utter fear at the number of women before her.

Shelly led her out into the parking lot of the hotel and clapped her on the back. "So...you enjoying your career in the WWE?" Stacy nodded stiffly. "Good. Did you enjoy your time with WCW?" Again Stacy nodded stiffly. "I bet you did. I mean, you had your choice of young studs to chose from. You got to go out there and dance," she said practically choking on the word dance. "I bet you even had fun ruining relationships when you couldn't get your way. Did ya?"

"I...I don't know what you..."

"You know damn well what I mean," Shelly said through gritted teeth. "3 Count Locker room....Shane Helms.....ring a bell at all?" Stacy's face flushed as the memory came flooding back to her. "Yeah I thought so. You tried to seduce Shane and when he refused your advances you mocked my friend and then when he told you he was in love and happy you said....what was it?"

"We'll see about that," Tammi interjected.

"Look," Stacy said. "I was going through lots of shit back then..."

"I don't want excuses," Shelly said clutching Stacy's shirt collar. "Right now two of my friends are pretty fucked up because of you. Now I want the truth. What happened in that hotel room with Shane?"

Stacy gulped and began to unfold the events of that fateful night. "I was drunk and depressed so I followed Shane to his room and...."

~*~*~*~*~*~

"She knocked on my door and when I answered I could tell she was too drunk to even stand. I helped her into the room and to the couch. She started rambling about how sexy I was and how she always wanted a man like me. She stumbled closer to me and started trying to seduce me again. I pushed her away and that's when she literally turned green. She spent the night puking her guts up. I called the house doctor and he told me to watch her overnight and make sure she was ok. That's why she looked so disheveled the next morning. She had been sick all night and hardly slept at all. When she did sleep it was on the bathroom floor near the toilet. That's the truth I swear it." Shane looked to Miranda and when she didn't reply he sighed and said, "Please tell me you believe me. I can't stand living without you anymore Randa."

~*~*~*~*~*~

"I swear," Stacy said. "Nothing happened between Shane and I. I was too sick to even think of sleeping with him after that. I swear. Besides it was Evan that I was really interested in hooking up with, but he didn't bat for our team."

"All right," Shelly said letting her go. "I still don't like ya, but I'm glad you didn't sleep with Shane. Now get the hell out of here." Stacy didn't hesitate, she took off like a bat out of hell.

"This is great," Leila said.

"You think Randa will believe his story," Amy asked. They all shrugged and went back into the diner to wait for word from their friends.

~~~~~~
"Randa," Shane said when she still didn't answer. "Say something...anything! The silence is killing me."
"I've been so stupid," she finally said. "I threw away the best thing in my life and...I can't ever get it back to the way it used to be."
"Yes we can," Shane said standing and taking her by the shoulders. "We can go back to the way we were. Randa I need you." Before she could say another word he planted a hungry kiss on her lips. His soft lips pressed against hers as his tongue massaged hers. She soon found herself melting into his arms as he deepened the kiss.
~*~*~*~*~*~
"Has anyone seen Shane or Miranda," Joxy asked as she sat the locker room with Shelly and the rest of the girls, none of them had any matches that night.
"Randa won't answer my calls," Shelly said.
"She hasn't been home at all as far as I know," Leila replied.
"And she hasn't been in her hotel room at all or she's just not answering the door.," Amy said. "I hope she's all right."
Just then Matt, Jeff and Shannon came running in. "Turn on the monitor," they both yelled.
"What's going on," Shelly asked as Shannon half killed himself to turn on the monitor.
Shane was in the ring with mic in his hand. "Blind Fury, now I know I hurt you years ago and you beat the hell out of me up and down this ring. I'll admit it, you got the better of me and I deserved it for the way I treated you. But if you come out here now there's something I need to say to you." The lights went out and fire blazed on the stage as Godsmack's Voodoo blared through the arena. Blind Fury made her way to the ring and stood in front of Shane waiting to see what he had to say. "I know I hurt you and I'm here to be a man and say I'm sorry. Please accept my apology." He held out his hand and she took it. Before she could speak he pulled her to him and kissed her passionately as the crowd went wild.
Blind Fury pushed him off of her and slapped him across the face before she let out her evil laugh and grabbed his mic. "Apology accepted Hurricane," she said. "But if you think that you can get into my pants that easily you have another thing coming."
Shane grabbed the mic back and said, "I know. It took what three or four glasses of wine first right?" Blind Fury narrowed her eyes at him and shoved him down before she slapped him across the face again.
"This foreplay is getting tiring," she said once she had taken the mic from him again. "Come on Flyboy." With that she grabbed his cape and led him up the ramp and into the locker room area.
~*~*~*~*~*~
"I can't believe it," Leila, Amy and Shelly all squealed.
"They made up," Shannon said smiling.
"I knew they would," Matt and Jeff said.
"Did we miss something," Tammi, Emily, Dawn and Joxy all asked.
"Back when Shane and Miranda were backyard wrestling with us they'd do things like this to make up," Matt explained. "It was their way of keeping their relationship interesting."
"Neither one knew what they were going to say beforehand. They just improvised," Shelly explained.
Before anyone else could say a word Shane and Miranda came into the room. They looked at their friends and then started to laugh. "Did we forget to mention we're giving things a second chance?"
