Bored out of their minds, Matt and Jeff decide to raid the games closet. They scan the names until they happen upon a game they don't remember ever seeing before. It's called the Spirit Board (very much like the Ouija board) and decide to play. Just as they're ready to play the electricity goes out and they scramble to get candles lit so that they can see what they're doing. As they play the game, the teens suddenly realize that they are no longer alone in the Hardy house. They're faced with a fight for all of their lives with a force they've never even dreamed of.
